MTSE provides a powerful solution for Taxi management which gives the operator the ability to monitor the taxi status, its location, number of passengers per ride, daily reports (number of rides, Km's traveled, total fare).
MTSE intended to develop this system to achieve a flexible and an easy way for Taxi management.  

The Taxi management system consists of 2 subsystems, the control center and the In-vehicle unit.

The control center:

The control center receives calls from customers and directs Taxis towards the customer's location. It supervises and manages the company's Taxis and makes statistical and financial reports regarding its Taxis fleet.

The control center consists of:

	A call center to receive calls and store the caller's id and info on its database.
	An UHF/VHF radio for the voice/data communications between the center and the Taxi.
	A data modem to receive the incoming data from the Taxis (id, status, passengers status …etc).
	Database for storing daily reports of Taxis.

The In-Vehicle unit:
The In-Vehicle unit establishes a connection with the remote control center, it includes a digital taximeter which calculates the fare and the Km's traveled and prints receipts.

The In-Vehicle unit consists of:

	A digital taximeter with a printer
	A wireless device to handle voice/data communications with the control center.
	A modem to transfer data.
	Status indication top light.
	An LCD screen to display maps or multimedia data. (optional)
